I saw on some website a secret way to eat canelés by pouring wine over them to warm them up.
This would be perfect for wine jam !Place a scoop of wine jam into the depression on top of the canelé.
I tried heating it in the microwave for about 5 seconds.
The rich aroma of wine filled the air and warmed me up.
This is great!
I want more than just one scoop.
In the end, I ended up dipping each bite in wine jam.
The trick to heating them in the microwave is to be careful not to microwave them for too long, as they will get too hot and the bottoms will harden.
This time, I paired vanilla canelés with, of course , Bordeaux's Buzet red wine jam .Even those who can't tolerate alcohol will be fine.
If you sprinkle pink pepper on top, it will be even more delicious.
