The French Alps in Japan?

The Alps are the source of Lacson, and Japan has a sister city to Chamonix , a town in the French Alps.

Chamonix is a city that is bustling with tourists every year and is one of the most representative cities in the French Alps. It is also a popular destination for sport climbing and skiing.

Chamonix's sister city is Fujiyoshida City in Yamanashi Prefecture. Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, France, located at the foot of Mont Blanc, the highest peak in the European Alps, and Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture, located at the foot of Mount Fuji, the highest peak in Japan, became sister cities in 1978 , using the two mountains they both take pride in as a bridge, and three years ago in 2019 , they celebrated the 40th anniversary of their relationship .
