When it comes to summer in France, of course, sorbet and gelato are hard to miss.
But salted caramel is definitely the best in summer.
The rich sweetness of the caramel and the added salt will soothe your body when it's tired from the heat.
Caramel crepes are a French summer treat! Served with vanilla and lemonade, they're perfect.
We introduce crepes made in Brittany, a region famous for its crepes.
Caramel Crepe
material
- 125g flour
- 60g sugar
- 60g salted butter
- 2 whole eggs
- 30 cl milk
- Caramel spread, desired amount
- Put the flour in a bowl, make a well in the middle and crack the eggs into it and mix.
- Add the sugar and salt, then the milk.
- Add the melted butter and mix well. The crepe batter is ready!
- Add a little oil to a frying pan and cook the crepes.
How to eat crepes
- Fold the crepe into quarters and spoon the caramel spread over the top.
- You can also add ice cream or fruit if you like!
- Prepare the lemonade and enjoy!
